Mrs. Hall has been keeping her immaculate gardens at Chalkhouse Green Farm since the late 1960s and all the endless years of work have resulted in a wonderful year round vision of colour and variety.

With a secret herb garden, secluded walled vegetable garden featuring a splendid ‘folie de grandeur’, various fruit orchards and bountiful herbaceous borders and fruit gardens there is plenty to find and explore.

Having exerted oneself on the pristine grass tennis court, one can take a cooling dip in the covered swimming pool, hidden behind majestic gated flint walls and recover one’s strength with a cream tea on the terrace enjoying views of the rare breed cattle grazing in the rolling fields.
