From the BMSTC August 2013 ‘Centrenews‘

In July we went on a very special visit to Chalkhouse Green Farm, which is part of the National Garden Scheme (ngs), Kidmore End Road, RG4 9AL.

They not only offer a beautiful 1 acre garden to look at but have a variety of rare breed animals white cattle, heavy horses, as well as ducks, geese, turkeys and chickens from all over the world. The wonderful people who own the Farm say it is specially equipped for people with wheelchairs. They have an open day with Tractor & donkey rides, swimming pool, cream teas and plants.
