Pupils from St Mary Magdalene School in Westminster visited Chalkhouse Green Farm to experience country life.
Sarah and John Hall hosted 40 children as part of their commitment to promote farming.
The group of nine- to 11-year-olds fed pigs and cows and saw horses, ducks and chickens.
Mrs Hall, a Kidmore End parish councillor, said: “It is all about making a connection between their food and where it comes from. Many of the children we have had here have never seen animals up close before.”
The Halls support Linking the Environment And Farming, which helps people from disadvantaged backgrounds become involved with the countryside.
