Chalkhouse Green Farm’s next open day will be Sunday 22rd June 2025

The open day run from 2pm to 6pm in association with the Yellow Book National Garden Scheme

Wheelchair users, carers, and children are free. 

Dogs are welcome on leads, please don’t leave them in the car!

A traditional farmstead & gardens, cream teas, guided trailer rides & rare breed animals, there is something for everyone!

Waiting to meet you are the heavy horses, including our rare Suffolk Punch horses, and all the British White calves.

Vintage farming equipment will be on display in the threshing barn alongside the owls, and a bee and honey demonstration.

Monty and Magic, the adorable donkeys, love saying hello and receiving pats from young children. Unfortunately, this year we will not be able to offer donkey rides as our donkeys are getting older!

Talks about the farm and our work for the Soundabout charity, with the exciting ‘Sounds of Intent’ initiative, evaluating the beneficial effects of music for severely disabled children and adults.

Come and see us!  We love to see visitors, school groups, and care homes, especially welcome.
